Magician T8 pet order and attack range

May we change the order of summoning T8 pet from

1. Earth
2. Fire
3. Water
4. Air

TO

1. Air
2. Water
3. Fire
4. Earth

And increase range of pet attack command so I don't have to run in closer to send pet in?

As for the order: it all depends on what everyone else says. I can easily change the order, but won't do it unless the majority of the Mage community agrees.

On the pet attack range: nope. It's been the same since launch of the server and right now we have no intentions of changing it.

Order doesn't really matter as all 4 have some use at least.

*edit* realized it's been 6 months since my last real parses on pets and monks/rogues have had changes made that seem to affect pets. New unbuffed (self buffs for donor monk and rogue were on though) 5 min parses with rank3 pet toys and donor pet focus item versus t8 dummy in arena are below.

fire - 3882 dps
air - 4238 dps
water - 4489 dps
Donor pet - 6800 dps

Slightly off the primary topic but at what stage do you see the fire pet creating more DPS? It seems most people run with air pet. I haven't had the time to do parses so just curious on your input on the matter.

I was using air up until a few days ago. Water seems to hit for 1-200 more with long duration donor wep running and of course you have the 32k assassinate which is nice on my non donor Mage.

If it were to change id agree with the previous two, purely because it is more optimal for raiding and the likeliness of the pet dying. Overall it is not a huge issue to me however.

I'll chime in and say anything but earth first, water preferably.

New line up will be:

Rogue
Monk
Beserker
Warrior

This will take affect on both Magician and Necromancer Tier 8 pet spells.
