Seasonal Raid Events

Hello,

Just a thought that maybe the seasonal Raid Event Turn-in person could be moved to the guild hall along with the gate out process. Seems that every seasonal raid event - Halloween, 4th of July, Xmas the zone that has the turn-in person is extremely laggy and causes de-syncs constantly. Since the events are guild only might help with some of those issues.

Thanks

Yeah, I think that would be a great idea. Everfrost has been very laggy today, even in the early morning with few people on, probably because there are so many different things to do there! Love these events though guys. Great job!

I agree, the events are fun so everyone is off doing them. But that causes the zones to desync, then you're wasting all your time logging back in.

I spent an hour last night going in and out of synch and disconnecting trying to get a raid of 4 groups assembled in Everfrost. I don't know what the problem is but hope somehow the connection issues that pop up when there are 40 or more characters in a zone can somehow be fixed.

This is a great server and I'm pretty sure it will keep growing but if it does, at some point the number of characters limitations will need to be addressed.

I agree. Desync has been horrible during the holiday raids from so many characters in the same zone doing quests, boss kills, ect ect. Guild hall would make a nice place to start holiday raids from and return to once its done.

Likely a good idea for the stargate. If you're in the area when 3 or more raids port out/prep to enter, lag can get a lil bad. Then there are those people who just afk their entire raid force once they finish/wait that final hour for the lockout to be gone. Personally, I haven't had much issue, but I haven't been playing around primetime for a few weeks now, so I can't say I've experienced peak lag :P (WTB that frosty aug with backstab damage :P)

Well in the event of The Polar Bear King itself there's quite a bit of lag, like 15 seconds to infinity. Click something like a BP and find it showing its clicked a few minutes later. Not sure what the problem is. Could have nothing to do with server, just the internet. Wish there was a way to fix it though.

Yeah, 8 of us from Chiron lost about half an hour trying to log back into Everfrost tonight. Lag was so bad in the portal room that we could not get back into the game and those that did had 5k ping and desync'd quickly.

70 ppl were in everfrost the one time I was able to check. Bout 4 guilds so I'm guessing 4 or 5 ppl were blocking the 8 of us from playing.
