A portable augmentation "bird bath" container.

The more characters I play simultaneously, the more hesitant I am to zone because it is likely that one or more more of my eq instances will crash. I'd love a portable augmentation container.

It doesnt matter if it is direct vendor purchased, quested, or crafted, the point is to help remove plat from the economy.

NPC purchase-able stat food & drink.

I like the food / drink that comes from the quest in the forest, and I'd be willing to pay plat for it. I'm currently not willing to do the quest over and over again for all my characters but I'd spend plat on it in a heartbeat.

This one may be unrealistic due to having to write new code to support it:

NPC purchaseable bags that are larger than 10 slot. How about a 20 slot bag for in exchange for a sack load of plat!

"Tribute" stats / buffs

Back in the day when I used to play eq live, I vaguely remember being able to destroy your gear via "tribute" and get some temporary buffs / stats out of the deal.

You could setup a tier based platinum tribute system that would give you some modest temporary buffs / stats (that persist through death). You'd have to be careful to not overpower the buffs as to make everyone feel they are required.

Another suggestion that might not be possible due to game mechanics.

Setup the "GM" npcs that are in the forest to allow you to train your tradeskills past 21. I'd gladly dump trillions (exaggeration!) of platinum to advance blacksmithing / tailoring etc to 300+ w/o having to bore myself to death advancing it the traditional way.

Just thought of something else.

What about a quest that has a 28 day lockout (so monthly) similar to the recent holiday scavenger quest that requires a bought bag for the combine? Can either make the bag one price or if you wanted to make different tiers could do 10k for T1, 100k for T8 something to that effect.

The rewards could be changed every month, if so desired, so that it could be something like the following:

1st month - Casino Tokens, Radiant Crystals, Dyes, Distillers, (Item -Lucky Token of Travel), (Aug - Talon of Corruption)

2nd month Radiant Crystals, Symbols of the Gods, Distillers, Adventure Points, (Item - Tier Token (Xeru/Xegony/Kera/Vulak)), (Aug - Glistening Blue Ornament)

If you wanted it so people could not just make a bunch of characters to perform the quest each month you could maybe put the quest person in a similar tiered zone so they would at least need to be flagged to perform the T8 version, etc.

Thanks for the ideas so far guys!

I know I won't be very popular with this but we would like to see some idea that is not on some "reward system" based. What I mean is, we would like to integrate the platinum sink to the everyday game play. Something like the fee in PoTactics at the teleporter, things like that.

Keep it going. :)

Something I would love to see some ideas on are tradeskill/combine thoughts.

Also, maybe some global dropped items/materials/quests?

Push the limits and think outside that box! :)
Oh the fun you all are going to have in DSK3...

Perhaps keep the existing instances in HoH with current timers, but add in an additional npc outside each of those events that will port your raid into said event without a timer? Lets people repeat popular instances without locking them away from others, it drains platinum from higher flagged players (can make the turn in that starts the event a TS combine where the mats are somewhat pricey and bought from vendors) which will increase the value of platinum, and it's purely optional since the existing events are still there which wont upset players :)
