Anything wrong with them?

Just to be clear, it used to increase HP by 800 AND heal for 800. The monk 2.0 does the same thing, heals for 3.5k and increases max HP by the same amount.

When you guys do ST key dragons, you should also pull Melalafen because he drops an entire tear rather than a fragment.

My turn :)

Fragment tears drop rate has already been upgraded to a decent one, I can tell you as I did fragments for my 6 toons.

2.0 is a great reward which needs time, also regular dragon respawn time is "quick" enough.
THF should keep a level of difficulty.

PS on diffuclty: And, yes I am in Evolution but I am a casual playing 2 evening max per week so I am sure you can do at least the same. ST dragons got already respawn time faster, hope GM staff will not, once again, make things easier for you & your mates =) No offense, but all of this has been addressed in the past to Tyler & Lillu - sometimes we get the changes (tear fragment drop rate) sometimes not (ST dragon respawn time) - would be frustrated to see once again difficulty lessered for Progeny peeps :).

PS2: Everquest without drama is not Everquest :) (even occasionally one)

I don't think it's unreasonable Lola. Personally, I've been very lucky with the drop rates, but some have not. I can solo box the tear droppers myself, but for some, like Trinn, the dragons require allies. When 3 or 4 people spend a few hours running around WW without a fragment drop, It's a tad frustrating to say the least. Yes, the 2.0 is a powerful item and should require some challenge and difficulty. Personally, I felt the 2.0 could use a bit more challenge, but I feel challenge is not the same as time. Spending hours on end for 1 person is not necessarily what I consider challenging.

Of course, you can solo box the dragons so why would you care?

And good idea, Koeril. We'll probably start pulling the completed tear dropper next we hit ST key droppers. Thanks for constructive feedback.

I should probably avoid anymore topics that would encourage modifying content that would "favor" future players, and current players, like Progeny. =P

Everyone has a choice. If you can't field a strong enough group/small raid to do Melalafen, then you have the option to farm the weaker dragons until you have enough pieces drop. It's better than the alternative, which is to just be out of luck if Melalafen is either undoable or not up when you need him.

The 2.0 is meant to be the best weapon in the game, probably until tier 5, and it's obtainable in tier 2. It shouldn't be a trivial task, and tbh it's already really easy to get if you have the force needed. I just don't see any logical reason to change the drop rate. After all, you don't just get a tear drop from dragons but you can also get great augs. The augs themselves should be enough incentive to keep on trying.

Like I said, I personally don't have a difficult time with it, and the augs are a great side reward to killing the dragons. And I agree, the difficulty of the quest is pretty easy, considering. I've said it time and time again though, time spent does not = challenge. I don't think the tear drops are hard, and you (or Lola) don't either, because of our perspective of being able to one-man-force it. In fact, I wouldn't have posted anything at all if it wasn't for Lola's response, which got me thinking. What may be not such a big deal to some of us to accomplish, may be difficult for others to accomplish. I have no problem spending the time helping Trinnity get his fragments. I've gotten multiple members their fragments and I've had very nice luck with it, only spending an hour at the most on average. However, I also know some members have spent 3+ hours without a single fragment drop. I'm nearly done with my fragments, and a lot of my members already are as well. It doesn't provide a huge favor to us, as much as it does for future players. Honestly, I don't think it's unreasonable to at least look at the rates and consider the possibility.

We have Mela who has a guarnateed Raid drop for the 2.0. Consider the fragments a bonus for people who want to work on the 2.0 beyond the usual raid theme.
