Looks awesome... though I wouldn't mind being able to view the "who is online" list by name, or guild, or level, etc... like the old one did :) I like to stalk my foes in an organized fashion...

The updates are great. The web tools you all have provided to the players are well above other servers. When I play I always have a browser tab with the website tools loaded.

* special thanks for including the chance % to the items in the loot display.

Will work on that when I get home from work today :)

Thanks for the new tool!

One thing I haven't been able to figure out how to do with new tool is searching for augs by slot type. Example: How I do search for Slot 8 augs? How do I search for slot 8 augs with a specific effect?

Here's another example, which may be a lot harder to implement I grant you. How do you search for an effect like "Group rune"? Lots of things in the database provide this effect spell/proc wise, but unless you already know the name, or part of the name, you can't find it.

I'd sure like to know how to find an aug that provides "Group rune" that is either Type 8 or Type 4, maybe Type 16, etc, which depends on your weapon of choice.

It's a great idea - I'll see about writing that in tonight!

It's definitely possible, albeit complicated like you said. I think it could be done. I'll estimate how much effort it might take. In the meantime, the closest to that functionality that you can get is to search for an Augmentation and type in a partial spell name as the proc effect.

For instance, this search will show you all augs that have a proc effect with the word "rune" in it: http://www.thehiddenforest.org/webtools ... tat2value=

Hint: there is only one, but like you said runes go by many different names so I can definitely see the value in searching by effect.

I'll call that one a maybe, for now. Will keep you posted.

Update. I've written the code to handle searching by aug slot. That's done and looking good. Will push that change live soon (today or tomorrow, probably) after a little more testing.

I investigated what it would take to search for item effects by spell effect and I think I'll handle this in two parts. Firstly, I'm going to introduce that feature to the spell search tool. At the very least, players will be able to find spells by effect type and value. I'll caution you now... there are nearly 300 different effects, so searching won't be a breeze, but I've made most of the descriptions pretty obvious so it shouldn't be hard to find what you're looking for.

Using this you can find rune spells, and loading up each individual one will show you which items have that effect. If the spell change works out well, I'll then integrate it into the item search tool.

So, some more feedback...

Searching the forums is now more difficult to do. Here's an easy example...

Search for: "Cleric Epic 3.0"

I'm unable to search the forum for this and in the past I know I was able to. Perhaps I'm not using the tool correctly, happy to have suggestion!

Thanks!
