Lucid Shard: Ssra

Is this item intended to have the listed drop rate?

I ask because the other shards all have a 5x to 10x higher chance to drop. Additionally, the spawn rate in Ssra is very slow so this compounds the issue.

If it is intended, so be it. Just wanted to ask, for probably obvious reasons.

can only tell you that back when I was camping those shards, some were much harder to get than others, like Seru. Never had much problem with Ssra though.

Aye some have lower droprates but you need to factor in spawns and ease to get them. All the Ssra droppers are fairly close together with a decent respawn rate. Acrylia though.., blech

funny to see how different expériences can be. Never had any problems in acrylia hehe. Worst for me was by far sseru, for the 28 keys I did or so. And I was camping several spots at a time with perma cleaning upstairs.

Seru was a rare drop but lots of mobs. Acrylia had scattered mobs plus lower than avg rate. RNG is random

Thanks for the replies all. Indeed, Ssra turned out not to be too terrible. Was looking ahead and the numbers just appeared scary :)

Took about 5 or 6 clearings of the skeletons to get 6 people done.

Funny indeed how RNG works.

For me, by a huge margin, Maiden's eye is the worst. All day there on/off and only 2 drop.

I think it's tied to the fact that the spawns are rare and it's not a high chance to drop to offset that. Perhaps it was different in past. All the other shards took 3 or 4 clearings to get get everyone the bit they needed.

Not so in Maiden's eye. Half the time the NPC's are just flat not up. Probably how it was on live, but it's a stark difference to the other shards for sure. I predict it will take 30+ hours at this rate given it was 10 or so today to get 2. Good thing I'm only after 6....holy cow I can't imagine 28 :)

if you camp all the 4 spots in ME it's fast. And yeah, doing 28 was a bit extreme :mrgreen:

Well we will see how it goes next chance I get to play again. I was keeping every goranga in the zone dead and it wasnt a good RNG day /o\

Ups and downs, next time I log in it will be 3 in a row....

Funny how that RNG works....

No need To clean all goranga. There are just 4 spots where named can pop.
