Necro Donor pet - Afterlifes Prayer, bug or user error?

Hi all,

I have a Necro donor pet and for some reason he seems to be casting Afterlife's Prayer (converts HP to mana)on me, I have a full mana bar too.
I don't remember this happening in the past. It's a pain because my HP are slowly drained unless I make pet go away.

Anyone else having this issue or know if there is a way to make the pet stop giving me this buff?

Afterlife prayer has never been a mana hp convertor. Its’a dot boost.

strange, its definitely draining my life.
I went afk and came back dieing.
I cancel it and pets keeps recasting it.

Once I killed pet I stopped getting it cast and stopped losing HP.

The text says...Your body convulses with the power of death
then...your body stops convulsing once I cancel it.

Sunlight showed me how to block the buff for now.
This must be a bug or something.
It drains my health a couple %points a minute. not a huge amount but still a pain.

Anyone else able to confirm this? It definitely should not be happening and seems weird that it would spring up as a big now since no spell changes have happened in awhile

All I can say is when i cancel the buff the hp drain goes away. Pet recasts it in like 5-10 secs. If I tell pet to leave and cancel the buff it doesnt come back. You can look me up in game Stinkbox or Endtimes (Endtimes in the necro) and watch it for yourself if you like

Not seeing the issue with my donor necro. Using donor robe & donor weapon clicky. Maybe check that all spells are upto date?

If using the lich line, maybe the effect is causing the dot from that to improve and draining more hp than he can naturally regen?

I would recommend not blocking the buff.

Ahhh!!.

thanks so much. but why would that effect stop once I cancelled my pet I wonder?
I tried removing that item as well and It didn't seem to have any effect.

Going to log in and test it now.
