I'm completely lost...

Hello. I tried joining your server today but I've hit a brick wall and I can't figure out how to get past it. I can't login.
I created an account here(after struggling with it because it wouldn't accept my email address. I had to create another email address on a different email site to get it to accept me).
I created a THF server login account.
I created an EQEMU account and created a loginserver account.

I downloaded the game from the guide here (viewtopic.php?f=7&t=1763) using the Underfoot mirror1. I created multiple shortcuts connected to various eqgame.exe. I've tried running them as administrator. I've tried signing in with my login account here, the one from eqemu, and any other account from other private servers I could think of but I got nothing. I ran the THF patcher as instructed and I didn't patch underfoot after extracting the files. I added patchme to the shortcuts.
I did everything that page told me to down to the letter. Everything the youtube video on the front page told me to do (this one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mqfK4iG3bws) after the first page didn't work.
I changed the eqhost.txt file multiple times from what it was originally to what it said in the youtube video to what it said I should change it to here (viewforum.php?f=116).

I've done everything correctly and racked my brain trying to figure out where this went wrong. I've gone over and over it all and got nothing. I'm completely lost here. Maybe there has been a change and the help pages weren't modified? The youtube video is from 2011 and the forum posts with instructions were made in 2010.

I'm assuming you are using yahoo email which is disabled on the forums due to insane amount of Chinese spammers trying to register and spam the forum on a daily basis. These are unfortunately real people spamming and not bots. Only Yahoo let these spammers abuse the system so I just blocked them for now.

As far as your connectivity issues, I'm not sure what to tell you, if you are following the guides you should be able to connect and play on the server as thousand others already managed to do it.

Just some issues to point out based on your post, you are completly mixing things up and doing everything instead of doing one thing but doing that properly.
- You don't need multiple shortcuts to eqgame.exe, you just need one proper shortcut.
- You don't need eqemu AND THF game accounts, you need ONE of them and you have to set your client up based on that selected account type.
- If you are downloading an UF client, you shouldn't follow the Titanium client setup guide.
