Looking at the numbers seems a bit odd to me, how about an unbuffed parse? Parsing in guild hall on which npc? Assuming both were summoned with shammy which shammy buffs were you using? The highest Ive ever got it on the tier 8 npc was 3.7k using rk 1 spells with fear toys and throwing every buff clicky disc that will land on it. Higher stats haste atk but a bit lower dps and a bit lower hp. Dont know how its calculated. Maybe this is the tradeoff for the additional 3568ac the draek gets? V said more hp but wouldnt tank as well.

From my quick test this AM. Completely unbuffed/unequiped 5 min parse on t8 dummy in hall. Both summoned with dark minion.

draekon pet - Total Damage 262335 DPS 874.5
wunshi - Total Damage 299833 DPS 999.4

The wunshi pet has a higher innate haste than the draekon pet. That is where you are seeing the slightly higher dps ratio. But as mentioned, the tradeoff is in the AC/survivability

So with buffs it should even out or is that something that stacks with the haste buffs?

If you basted the draekon pet but not wunshi it would prolly even out. Essentially I just gave the wunshi pet a faster innate haste that all npcs have. Adding haste buffs just makes the pet even faster

It was changed to a drop from the 70 group zones. I got it in kael.

Pet is super, liking it! But, doesn't show weapons.

Would be neat for such a special pet to have a special form. Maybe a shaman could have an Aviak appearing pet instead...they sure hit fast like this new pet.
