Just checking on the Spirited Merchant for Xegony.

Killed her, it spawned. She didn't drop a token, and his menu was empty. Is that the way it's supposed to function? If she drops a token, then it has tokens for sale?

I don't need them, but like the idea, and would like to see it work properly.

My son-in-law needs them, haha. :twisted:

Just killed Xeru, he dropped a token, the merchant spawned, but only had a 0 cost item with a necklace icon that once purchased in bag shows an an empty icon and name but in mq2 shows item id 122863 - and item search shows http://www.thehiddenforest.org/webtools ... ?id=122863

Interesting. The blank item has to be there because the merchant required to have atleast 1 base item. The tokens should add to the temporary list after it spawns.

I’ll tkae a look when I get home today.

Okay - Merchant is now populating the tokens as appropriate. I was a noob and made a mistake in the routine :?

The blank item, as mentioned, has to be there. The baseline merchant code requires at least 1 permanent item on the merchant listing to be a valid merchant. This necklace you guys are seeing is that. It's just a filler so that the code can generate the tokens properly.

Couple of things, Luclin merchant still only has the necklace and when clicking the vt tokens in the guild hall it lags the zone to the point where all the characters disappear. No one goes link dead.

Also the vt token tried to give me the same augment I already had.

Apparently the choice of what you get from what you roll is independent of what you have in your inventory. So if your roll gets you something you already have then you get the red text and nothing on your cursor. Such are
the inscrutable arcane decision making and programming inspired by Murphy's Laws and implemented by Vaion. :D

Yes sadly upon the loads of loots it can give it also can give the same item you already have its completely random at what you will get as you get more chances become greater of lore.

As for merchant its being worked on by Vaion at the moment and or just waiting the push for it. Rof2 has come in the way.
