Current State of Raids

Hi,

I used to play on THF quite a bit ago. Remember getting snagged around DSK.

I know there were some substantial reworks to some of the raids to remove the barrier of entry to HoH back maybe in 2016?

I wanted to try and get a feel of what kind of force is needed for clearing DSK, HoH, VT etc. I'd like to be able to push some of the higher content without being stuck or needing a consistent group to progress.

Main issue I tend to have is my playtime being later limits my ability to get groups with folks for these. So just trying to gauge if the changes made this more doable with a box group of 6/12/18, or if it's still setup for consistently needing multiple people?

you def will need 2 tanks 3 - 4 healers i tend to do 2 cleric 1 druid 1 shaman with paladin tank and healing then enchanter for debuff / mez and i would suggest pet classes as they are quite strong and can substain a good bit of dps.

Of course it is still gear dependent. Dsk1-VT is doable by 12-18 characters. And it is always easier and more fun with multiple people imo.

I can do nearly all content server offers at the moment but very last mob in dsk 3 by myself as i dont wish to put the effort into it when i wish to one day share a instance and have someone reduce the work load for me. But i run 15 chars and can do nearly everything. Key ive seen here is you can make or break raid dps with the debuffs if dont use it will be hard if can fully unload debuffs on mobs they become quite easy. so id say around 12 to 18 for sure.

I agree 100% with this and trust me I'd prefer to do it that way. But when I played, and on other emu servers, and on even mainstream games like WoW trying to align a few folks with a late PST schedule tends to be challenging. Could be different on THF now I suppose though.

Like they said, gear (especially donor) will let you do the stuff with your own box crew and definitely more fun with more people.

What you add to your group really depends on what you have.
