If the message still appears when disconnected I don't think it's eqbc. What other plugins do you have loaded?

Okay guys.
I tried it without EQBC server running, still get the constant scrolling
I downloaded a clean version of the mq2 and it is still there.

Maybe the mq2 and macro aren't compatible? Are you downloading the correct mq2 for the UF client? I can offer you my E3 macro and mq2 client if you can't get yours to work.

Have you tried turning off your Windows firewall? Could be the port is being blocked.
Did you install everything or just copy across the files?

Go into Control Panel, Windows Defender Firewall, and check for "eqbcserver" and for "MQ2EQBC Server".
They should be allowed / ticked for Private, i can't imagine any reason for your machine being on a public network unless you're sat in a cafe or something.

Hey Mr Horn
Okay, I just looked into the firewall setting and selected the private, but it still does it.

I did just copy over the MQ directory and the Everquest Directory without installing it.
I'm not sure how I would install it, without install media ;)

Maybe I don't have the correct version of MQ2.
My folder is MQEmu_Gold_Underfoot

Is this not the version I should be running?

Oooh. That's the connect to the gold login server for that I bet. If you aren't a gold member on the site there it might be spamming you. If you are a gold member, redownload it and make sure you are signed in to the website with your account that has gold access and it should work
