Got a new message from clicking tokens today; "You are unfavored by the Gods of Norrath."

Does that mean I just lose? (I don't have several items from the raid still)
Your friendly neighborhood gnome,

Let's forget all those amazing changes. It's more amazing that MK is still here :)

It means no items were added to the prize list. The chances of this happening is affected by the number of items you already have. For this to be possible at all you must have all of the "common" items that you can use already (these are added to the prize list every time if you don't have them and can use it, no roll required).

Otherwise, you just didn't get the required rolls for all of the remaining items on each list (artefact, rare, generic) that you can use.

So yes, this time you lose :) But being in this position does mean you have a higher chance of getting a rare or artefact item because your prize list is shorter than someone who has none of the items they can use. Essentially, if you had rolled the required score for just one of the artefacts to be added to your prize list, that would have been your prize by default.

The Xeru Token Merchant wouldn't talk to one of my characters, Jabit. He says something like this:

I can't abide by you or your actions against all that is right. BE GONE

Now Jabit is a Dark Elf and a Shadow Night and probably hangs with the wrong sorts but ... he'd like to make friends with the Token Merchant. This message sort of hurts Jabit's feelings. When Jabit cons the Merchant, he is dubious. Jabit gave the token merchant 5 tokens, never got a message about being unfavored by the Gods or any items. So it does seem like something is wrong. Jabit has killed Xeru lots of times but not this time. I logged him in to do the exchanges.

It appears the guild of the token merchants had some ancient links to the merchants of Akanon, meaning they had a fond spot for Gnomes who are not known for their love of Teir'dal.

I had a meeting with Queen Adrianne and she's put in a word at the recent merchant council meeting and they agreed that such antiquated animosity was counter-productive to prosperous trade relations and they unanimously voted to dissolve any such political affiliations with the tiny ones of Akanon.

They said to pass on their apologies to Jabit and to let them know the next time they run into the spirited merchant that they should be a bit more welcoming.

Please let me know if that's not the case and I'll have some strong words with the racially confused Sporalli merchant.

I would like to formally protest, as the duly elected president of the Greater Northern Online Merchant Exchange System (GNOMES) I object to this slander of the Gnomish race. We are equal opportunity merchants. Even the silly tallish Teir'dal are welcome to buy our wares, that's why we have our local Bertox supporting gnomes handle that.

In exchange for this kindly reduction of hostilities Jabit has agreed to no longer wear his gnome-skin clothing in public. But they are so soft and cuddly, he just can't throw them out....

Jabit gave the Spirit Merchant that pops after Xeru 8 tokens and no red lettering, no items Jabit didn't want or need. So decided to hand the merchant a couple of tokens on Denizina, a kindly half-elf druid, same thing. So I am thinking that besides being a gnome-loving fungus, the said merchant may have some problems... I would appreciate it if someone checked him out.

Gave him? The merchant sells tokens, he doesn't take any (unless I missed something). The tokens can be turned in as normal to tunare for flagging, or right clicked for a zone loot item for the tier the token is from.
