Thanks Nilbus, Sune and other temporary donor pets should be targetable again. The skill ups from item clicks is on the to do list.

Haggle Baron is also in the forest as well for testing the BPs if needed.

Didn't use ROF2 to test, but I did log in with UF and the game is very smooth. The zoning times are much faster, and nothing seemed off with numbers when I did a few things. Could look into more specific things if you need. Let me know!

I've played around with ROF2 on a in-house personal lan server i been building and i will say it tougher to box multiple chars. With UF on THF I'm able to box 24 smoothly. When I was testing this PEQ server hosted on the same pc or over lan i would get laggy after 12 ish characters.

Again that was not THF server tho it was a personal server. I'll update my clients and jump into the forest and do some testing.

Quick question. Is ROF alrdy activated on regular server or just test at this point?

Only test. And because of that performance will be slow.

But it'll be a lot better once it goes live. I'd have thought rof2 would be better optimised than uf (it certainly zones much, much faster) but I don't know whether net traffic is better or worse.

Ocsi, I'm going to get an official thf rof2 download sorted, hopefully next week. You can download that and get it set up if you like.

I'd definitely recommend getting yourself set up on rof2 as soon as you can after we've got the thf version up. Our plan is to quite quickly move to rof2 exclusive support, once it's live and we're happy there are no issues.

Will the ROF2 be a zipped download as the others are at the moment? or patched through the patcher?

I only ask because there are alot of issues with the downloads at the moment, it seems recently almost everyone that tried it it failed for. It could be maybe only the fails are being posted, because why would you with a success? but how many people are downloading at the moment? so, to me at least, it seems the majority is a fail.

Hopefully a new, clean, package will work for most but if there are problems, having the failback of the patcher might also be nice.

The rof2 client will be a download, not delivered via the patcher (the latter wouldn't be an option).

It's a big file and big files have a higher chance of failing (for lots or reasons). What we may do is offer two options:

1) full client download
2) rar split archived (split into 500mb chunks, for example) with instructions how to reconstitute once all are downloaded

I've never had any issues with downloading clients from thf but appreciate that not everyone is so fortunate so we'll try to work it out for everyone.

I will try to take a run at VT here later today on the rog. I remember how quick i could kill him before so i should be able judge if its near same or not.

Played around in VT with the limited bandwidth it was tough but everything i tried seems to be working.

It seems All items that fit in ammo slot now has Power Source as equip slot. This is Arrows, and items with click effects like Aged Sarnek Channeler Staff, Staff of the Earthcrafter, Alo's Shadow Trinket, and the Art of Cimera Clickies from wall of slaughter

Thanks for testing Belvino, glad things seem ok in there :) Is that ok with the power slot? If you don't get the stat boost from the items then I guess it should be fine that they can fit in there too?

Correct should still be able to retain the stats it just is unable to infuse the armor to increase from power source.
