THF Patcher

I am having an issue with the patcher. It crashes before I can even select a folder. I have tried running as admin; installing on different drive; uninstalling/reinstalling. Anyone have any ideas? I am running on an old Win 7 SP1 machine. I can run THF fine, but not the installer.

Any Anti-Virus software running? I had to white list the patcher with mine.
Do you get any error when it crashes?

I had an issue with the patcher too, wouldnt let me select a folder and on the occasion it did let me, it didn't save.

I ended up changing the path manually in the THFDownloader.cfg file and it worked after that, could be worth a shot.

Thanks for the feedback guys. I did check the config -- I just changed that manually, which is a step in the right direction. However, I don't even get that far in the process. After clicking to run it crashes with the following error:

I am beginnging to think it is just this machine. I have been using another machine to get all the files and update this one manually, but I would, at some point, be able to just run the updater -- it is such a wonderful program to use.
