i found something while i playing thf

1. Ezcerin, the destroyer (120712) - 10 tier

- This 2h weapon is from HoH 10k point merchant. i remember i bought it for see what weapon graphic


2. Gem of Entombed Shadows (122245) - 0 tier

3. Emblem of Striking Darkness (122238) - 0 tier

- These two augs are from Master vule rare drop (9tier boss)



4. Shard of the Dreadspire Slayer (119701) - 9 tier

- This aug is from Dreadspire Hunter quest reward (7tier zone)

It's a T6 item (obtained via T6 content, albeit with a very long time investment) that fits into T6 items but it's T9 quality.

If a player obtained enough of this item to slot into a full suit of T6 gear then they should rightfully see the benefit of it on their rank score because they've slotted in several items that are of T9 quality.

The rank system isn't intended to suggest what tier of item an augment should be used in. It's purely there to grade items themselves.

That said, if T9 is a bit high we could change it to T8. I'd say the number of this item currently owned and used by players probably minimises the impact of this particular design decision though. It's pretty niche.

As for T9 augments that are actually supposed to be slotted into T9 gear, don't worry. As we've said a few times, we're soon going to review the lack of decent augments for the tier (and already had done this with the recent T9 content, to some extent, with the introduction of about 6 slot 8 augments that are about the same as the tear).

On the flip side, we have plans to introduce a new series of content that will extend the excellent Ldons content past T6. So perhaps, one day, you'll be able to farm a full set of the tear of the orc (or something even better) and slot it into T9 items

I love this update and it has helped me immensely in finding holes in my mid-tiers gearing after returning to the server!

I have kept a running list of missing and possible misnumbered tiers. Hopefully, this is helpful!

1.) Frozen Shard of Eternity (healer epic 2.5) is missing a Tier 3. Listed as 0.

2.) Magic Cookie (Tier 5 Xegony slot 4) is missing Tier 5. Listed as 0.

3.) Superior Magical Charm of Queen Adrianne is listed as Tier 2 despite being a Tier 3 quest with a Tier 4 turn-in.

4.)Infused Shadowhaven gear upgrades take Tier 1 gear and replace it with better gear that is listed as Tier 0. I thought this might be because the added augment slot would balance it, but the augments aren't tiered and wouldn't add to gear score for new players.

5.) Froggernought slot 4 weapon augs (Sharp Froglok Eye, Sharp Froglok Leg) are both listed as Tier 0 but are comparable to Tier 2 loot (for example, Claw of Emperor is +15 dmg at tier 1 and Claw of the Arbiter is +25 at tier 3). The caster/healer items from Froggernought are already Tier 1.

6.) Fang of Dranco augmentation is missing a tier. The other drops from this mob are tier 5.

7.) Ring of Zeevil the Insane is tier 5 but requires tier 6 clears of Sol Ro.

8.) Storm Strike and Storm Stun augs aren't tiered. This makes sense because they are crafted from Plane of Storms trash drops, but I remember them being HUGE upgrades back when I was Tier 1 years ago. It might be something to consider to show the gear strength to newer players.

I was looking over some of the new ranks on the Magelo and one thing that caught my eye is the Earring Dark Batskull Fetish http://www.thehiddenforest.org/webtools ... p?id=83613

This item is indeed rank 7 from T7 DSK. However, from what I remember back when I was playing a lot, this was the best in slot earring for tanks for the AC (non-donor) b/c of the worn effect. B/c of this worn effect I don't remember ever finding an earring even in VT and DSK3 to replace it. I don't recall any other items in T8 and T9 that contained this worn effect or an upgrade to it to allow replacement of the earring.

Now I have been gone several years, but is this still the case?
