Often when I donate to the server I try to be clever about the way I let Lillu know what I want, and who it's for.
Sometimes I get a laugh.
It's a fun way to show my respect to the people that do the hard work so I can just sit back and enjoy some fantasy.
Today I wanted some items for my Bard, Donnal, and this is what I wrote: (Sharing for your enjoyment)
Hail Noble Adventurer!
So Donnal is sitting and needing some stuff
His current equipment just isn't enough
So he ponders himself into a state of grief
And decides that his solutions reside in a Leaf
But Leaves they do fall but the kind that he needs
Are Hidden forever at the top of the trees
But Donnal is clever, not some gnomish dope
So he admits that to do this he must have a rope
And he feels very good as he drinks from his flagon
And also admits he needs help from a dragon
Not much, he considers, just a single left eye
And he figures the bazaar might have one to buy
But alas, he's not wealthy, this Bard that we know
So to his master, in tears, the minstrel does go
And because I so love him, I honor his plea
And beseech you, my lord, to give service to me
I donated enough this day I believe
To accept from you not 1, but 2 of the leaves (Leaf of the Hidden Forest)
And also some funds for some Fine Elven Rope (Elven Rope)
So Donnal, sweet Donnal, can have some new hope
And the last, The Left Eye, of the well-feared Mist Drake (Left eye of the Mist Dragon)
Would be the last item that I wish to take
I pray this is acceptable and meets your desires
For this is a world in which I shall never retire.
