THF patcher wont work?

FYI - it's fixed for supported clients, but ROF2 (I keep a folder for any eventual testing once it's enabled) gives the error. Not a big deal at all since you can't play with ROF2 yet.

Confirmed it working for UF and titanium

I am still getting an error.

But this time it tried to download something it said files to update 366 then the green progress bar showed up then I got hit with an error 404

I am using everquest Titanium launcher

One other thing if people are still having an issue, you may want to check your AV / Firewall settings. The update caused an issue with Symantec seeing the file as allowed even though I had it listed previously.

Under Settings > Firewall > Program Control (Norton Security) you can add the program to be allowed or change the access. The Insight engine may also have issues with the file when you first run it and then it tries to remove so you may have to trust the file before running.

I could never get the bloody patcher to work on my main PC (runs Symantec Anti-Virus) so I jumped on my laptop. Shared the THF directory on my main and ran the updater on my laptop using the share. Bingo.

I've tried to get this to work over the last few days. It may just be something I've overlooked so I would appreciate a fresh set of eyes.

I downloaded the UF client from here and extracted to c:\THF
I downloaded the THF Downloader and extracted it to the same directory c:\THF\everquest) . (I overwrote the downloader that was there)
When I try to run the downloader I get the following message on the downloader dialogue window:

"Unsupported: Please contact THF Admins"

Did I miss something?

Not sure what happened - I may have hosed myself. I just clicked to enter THF from my P99 executable (P99 is installed in a completely different directory) and it let me in.

It will let you log in but you'll have trouble with your UI, augmenting items, not viewing character/npc models, etc.

Yes I've noticed that. I played for about three hours last night and I love it so i have to get this figured out!
