can't get patcher to work... need update files..

Where exactly are you pointing the patcher? I seem to remember having an issue with only pointing it to the EQ folder and not the everquest folder that actually contains the files.

I know I've had this issue in the past and am trying to remember what the cause/cure was. Also to be clear, you are running the patcher as admin?

Having recently installed the UF client from here as well as the patcher as well as Win 10 without an issue, I can anecdotally attest that the files are fine.

I'm pointing the patcher to the file C: mydocuments\my games\EQ\
also tried C:\programfiles\Sony\THF\Everquest
and ALWAYS right clicking "run as admin"
same on either installation "unsupported please contact THF admins"
*I left off the (x86) for program files but I did copy EXACT paths for both..

When you extract the download from here on THF, it makes a /sony install?

I did as suggested, I downloaded the UF client from 2nd link last night 6+ GB, I extracted to C: which made a C:Everquest folder, I did NOT touch anything inside as it was stated the eggame.exe shortcut was already made and the THF update patcher was also included, I then followed the "player guide" on here, and again I will say I NEVER touched ANY file or changed anything inside this install..I right-clicked the THF patcher as instructed (ran as admin) and got the exact same message "unsupported please contact the THF admins" and this is from a CLEAN UF install, NEVER touched by me or anything changed inside so you tell me how can this be? I turned off my AV and firewall, I ran as Admin and still same old bullshit! I give up! hell on live I never had this much trouble getting updates lmao, it's rediculous! clean installs? run as admin? changed permissions to ALLOW any and all? and the patcher can't find my eqgame.exe??? maybe I'm cursed on this server eh?

I quit...I give up..it's clear I'm not wanted on this server so please just remove me from your server and I'll go play elsewhere..thanks...I enjoyed it but it is what it is and not going thru this shit no more! please remove my account from the thf server..thanks and good luck all and thanks for the fun...

Try just starting the game with the shortcut? Or did you try to re-download the THF patcher?

I can login to the server just fine and play the game with no issues, I can click on the eqgame.exe shortcut and login fine and play just cannot get the patcher to see my eqgame! and tired of trying...I've downloaded and installed the UF client and as I said before did not change any files inside as everything was already there. but the thf patcher still says "unsupported please contact the admins on thf" I'm just tired of this lillu..I don't know what else to try or do so just take me off and remove me and I'll go play on a different server, not what I want to do but if I can't get the updates or patcher to work? then what else can I do? I really love this server and don't want to leave it but I'm out of ideas as to what to do brother..
