Overview
- Cazic Thule is rooted. His pet is not.
- Cazic Thule may only be engaged once his golems (Dread, Terror, and Fright) and Dracoliche are dead.
- It is advisable to clear most of the trash in the zone, on account of his very very strong knockback to avoid adds during the fight.
- His pet hits moderately hard but has very few hp.
- His aoe (seemingly infinite range) knocks back, dispels buffs, and he will cast a fire dot on the main tank.
The Positioning
- Use the environment. Some trees can block line of sight, so that you are safe from the knockback/dispel.
- The fallen statue right by Cazic can also be used to block line of sight.
- Trees/hourglasses can be useful backboards to stop you from flying backwards (most of the time).
The Fight
- Position your raid behind a tree.
- Tag Cazic or his pet, so that the pet can be pulled safely behind your tree. Dispatch the pet, and then get ready to engage the boss.
- Cazic Thule (and all mobs) begin summoning once they hit 97%, so quickly get him to that percentage so that he will summon your tank back to him.
- Dps and heal as you see fit, and get him down.
