They won't say exactly the name of the spell, but have a Mez, Reverse Damage Shield, Blind, and Root spell memmed before starting this fight.

Unlock the named bats one-by-one, and dispatch them quickly. They have low hp, and poof when they hit 50%, spawning two mini Frayed Bats in their stead.

Like their masters, they are invulnerable until unlocked by a certain spell (blind seems to work on all of them). No new tricks, though, just use the 4 previously mentioned ones (or just blind) to unlock these bats. Important to note: these bats may only be unlocked one at a time. Unlock, kill, then move on to the next. If you receive a ''spell resisted'' message, you must try a different spell or wait a little bit before it will be able to be unlocked.

Overview

Red Fang does a long-lasting (up to 30 second) AoE Fear, so the best way to approach this fight is with two tanks - one of whom must be a knight class with aa's completed for fear immunity. The event begins by Red Fang immediately spawning 4 named bats at his side. Have the knight class tank use single target aggro spells to split Red Fang from the group, and pull him out of the room and on to the ramp just outside. Maneuver him so that the walls block his fear from hitting the raid. Have the second tank round up the 4 remaining named bats.

Named Bats

Rukiz the Gnasher -- Cast Reverse Damage Shield on him

Yurik the Zar -- Cast Blind on him

Hurshz the Tormented -- Cast Mez on him

Zharn the Unruly -- Cast Root on him

These named bats are invulnerable until unlocked by casting a particular spell on each. You can unlock the bats at any time (all at once). They will despawn at 50% and be replaced by two Frayed Bats.

Frayed Bats

Like their masters, they are invulnerable until unlocked by cast blind on them. It is recommended that you tash or malo them, as the blind will get frequently resisted. Just keep recasting until it sticks.

Periodically, tiny Savage Bats will spawn. They hit hard, have very little hp, and can be dispatched quickly - no unlocking required.

Work systematically to eliminate all named bats first. Once done, the Savage Bats will no longer spawn. After all mini bats are eliminated, now it is time for Red Fang. If you take too long to do the fight, Red Fang will start powering up, and shadow bats that hit much harder will spawn.

Important note: Do not kill red fang before unlocking all of the bats -- doing so will fail the event and you will have to wait 20 minutes.

Use /open on the chest for your rewards.
