The boss is rooted. He dispels and silences throughout the fight.
The boss has relatively low AC and gets hit really hard by melee/pets. The room he is in has several NPC's that spawns shades/shadows (like the mobs from HoH) which slowly move towards the boss. Either have the main tank who is tanking the boss AOE taunt/attack them before reaching the boss, or the boss will consume the shadows and heal. I believe the heal is 10%, but cannot recall.
The shadows do not have to be killed as long as you can tank them throughout the entire fight. They do not do a lot of damage. If you have two tanks, have one tank focus on grabbing them.
Additionally, the boss also does a heavy 50k nuke to everyone except the main tank in the room. You can avoid this AOE by having characters stand out in the hallway before the room. Directly outside the door isn't far enough, you must move back into the hallway about midway through the larger, box corridor before the boss room.
Avoid AOE. Don't let shadows reach the boss. Tank & Spank otherwise.
