Hail, Ingmar.(he is in Rathe Mountains)

I do not have time to waste with you, ______.

Hand him the Book of Marr. This is a global drop.

What is this? A book detailing my visions? But I did not write this, or tell anyone... The scripture written in this book detail a vision that I had as a child when I used to live in the halls of Kaladim. One summer evening while I was working on a new Helmet for the Captain, a sudden sense of power swept over me and I found myself on the fields of Valor surrounded by the armies of Mithaniel Marr himself. These words, written here in this book are the exact phrases that they chanted as they gazed upon Mithaniel's spirit form. I never told anyone of this vision, how is it that you came to possess this book?

You say "Posess."

This should not exist, _____. This book feels me with dread and awe at the same time. There must be some powerful force at work behind all this for my vision to have been known by someone else. What strikes me odd though, is that there is not recollection of the forges within the book.

You say "Forges?"

The forges were the one major thing that drew my attention during the vision. They burned with a brilliant blue fire unlike any that I had ever witnessed here upon Norrath. Within the flames themselves, I witnessed the smith of Marr forging powerful weapons unlike anything I had ever seen.

You say "Weapons?"

The weapons... yes it's coming back to me now. I could not recall the exact details of the forging until this very moment! Perhaps you were destined to deliver this book to me and it somehow unlocked my memory of the forgin process. Strange indeed, ____. It is a shame that I lost my smithing tools, otherwise I would say that it could be possible to forge one of the great weapons of Marr.

You say "Lost?"

Yes, when I left kaladim, I brought all of my smithing equipment with me. However along the way I was raided by many different bandits, goblins and other fiendish creatures and they stole all of my smithing tools. I have searched for them for years now with no luck. Perhaps, if you find all four of my missing smithing tools we could start working on collecting the needed components for one of the weapons of Marr.

His four tools are: Ingmar's Smith Anvil Ingmar's Smith Steel Ingmar's Smith Hammer Ingmar's Smith Bolts

All are global drops!

Hand them to Ingmar.

My tools! Amazing, these are exactly what we need to get started.

You say "Started?"

In the vision, the smiths of Marr used a powerful blue flame to forge all of the components that I saw them using. While we do not have any of the blue flame here on Norrath, I am certain that we can still forge the weapon with a little bit of luck and skill. Luckily for you, my family is said to be the greatest smiths born in the halls of Kaladim since the great Dain Strikefell himself.

You say "Components?'

You receive Ingmar`s Smith Bag.

While there were many artifacts upon the smith tables that I did not recognize, the main ones were easy enough to decipher. In order to begin forging the hilt of one of the weapons, you will need to bring me five items. I will give you a bag so that you are able to easily carry them. The five components that I will need are, Mithril Steel Bar, Dragon Bone Bolt, Raptor Tooth, Ghoul Sinew, and Liquid Bronze. I do not know where you may find these items in Norrath, my travels have been very limited and I am afraid I do not know where any of these components may be found.

Mithril Steel Bar -> Bishop Alderan -> Plane of Valor

Liquid Bronze -> Sir Forndel -> Befallen

Raptor Tooth -> Vrakkth -> Timorous Deep

Ghoul Sinew -> Kurckri -> Emerald Jungle

Dragon Bone Bolt -> Sarkanoth -> Field of Bone

Combine all 5 items in the smithing bag.

Hand Master Ingmar Full Ingmar's Smith Bag.

You actually found all the pieces?! Amazing, let us get started then.

You say "Amazing?"

Wit these components, I am able to fashion the hilt of the weapon that we seek to create _____. However, I will need some help with the other pieces since they go far beyond my skills and require percise ability and techniques. The next piece that we need to fashion are the bindings that will hold the head of the weapon together. While I am a master smith in the eyes of Kaladim, there was always one person who outskilled even me.

You say "Outskilled?"

You receive Letter to Weldar.

His name is Weldarr. He was one of the most renowned smiths to be born in Kaladim in many ages. I was his apprentice many years ago before he was shunned from our communities and banned from ever returning to Kaladim. Where he resides now, I am now sure, I only know that he is a man who values his peace and quiet. If you happen to find him, give him this letter, it will explain what we need and perhaps it will persuade him to help us.

Weldarr is in Southern Plains of Karana in the hermits house.

Hand him the Letter to Weldarr.

What is this? A letter from Ingmar? Well aren't you full of surprises.

You say "Surprises?"

Well, I have not heard from Ingmar in many ages. Not since I was banished and he sent me a letter explaining the details of my trials that I was never allowed to attend. A mockery it was, my own people turned against me for only trying to prevent the corruption that was plain as daylight to see. But nevermind that for the moment, I read here that you need me to make some bindings for a special weapon that Ingmar is fashioning you?

You say "Weapon?"

Any weapon forged by the hands of Ingmar will be an extroidinary tool. Yes, I will lend my assistance, but before I am willing to do that, I need you to do something for me. You see all this talk about my banishment has boiled my long simmering blood. I want nothing more than revenge, _____. I want the fool of a Dwarf by the name of Sentinel Kurstiv to pay for his lies and slander that costed me my home.

Next stop, North Kaladim to talk to Madam Kurstiv.

Huh? Who are you? Oh you are looking for my husband, Sentinel Kurstiv? I do not know where he is at, nor do I honestly care. The scoundrel can go rot in the fires of Ro for all I care about him anymore!

Scoundrel?

My husband used to be a respectible man, someone who was just and righteous. I respected him with all of my heart for the service that he did for our great city. But ever since that foolish man got involved with the smugglers known as the Constallion Kormif, he has been up to no good and has been coming home later and later, if at all!

Kormif?

The Kormif's are a family of Dwarves who came into power within the city about ten years ago. They were at first a respectable trading family, but after their Patriarch fell sick with the Goblin Pox, the eldest son took over and has run the reputation of the family into the ground. He now uses his power and position to bully the other shop owners into paying him for 'protection' and has been smuggling countless illegal items in and out of the city. My husband was swooped up into the Kormif business and has become a regular smuggler now! If only I had to power to infiltrate their lines and give my husband's beard a good tugging or two.

Infiltrate?

The Kormif all wear special uniforms that designate them from the other clans of Kaladim. Only those who have the uniforms are able to enter the halls of the Kormif. If you can bring me the four pieces of their uniform, then I may be able to get inside and do some dirty work to my husband's reputation from within. You will probably be able to find the pieces of their uniform laying around these parts of Kaladim. The Kormif are not known for their capability of keeping track of their valuables. You may have to scrounge up a couple pieces though...

Kormif Boots -> Outside Madam Kurstiv's House (Groundspawn) Kormif Tunic -> Outside Madam Kurstiv's house (Groundspawn) Kormif Leggings -> Foraged (North Kaladim) Kormif Veil -> Foraged (North Kaladim)

Hand items to her.

These are exactly what we need _____. Now, with this disguise, I will be able to enter into the halls of the Kormif and do some 'damage' to my husbands reputation. Here, take this Key. I have enchanted it to allow entrace to any locked door within Kaladim. I will need you to distract my husband while I sneak past him.

Hail, Sentinel Kurstiv

What are you doing here!? You cannot be here, please, they will beat me again. Please leave before someone finds you here!

Leave?

What? My wife? You let her into the halls? You do realize that she is a senior member of the Kormif Clan right?

Senior?

My wife is the person who forced me to take this job. She threatened to oust me about lying during the trials agains the Smith Weldarr. She uses me to protect her as they run illegal trades in and out of the city.

Weldarr?

Weldarr sent you to find me to get his revenge!? This is grave, you must explain to Weldarr that I was forced into confessing against him at the trials. My wife held me at knife point and dared me to defy her demands. I was so afraid, I did not know what to do.

Demands?

My wife is a fool if she thinks that her actions will go unchecked forever, perhaps if you are willing to help me, we can put an end to her plans once and for all.

Willing?

My wife is a powerful sorceress. She is capable of many things that normal Dwarven spellcasters can only dream of. If you truly wish to help me put a stop to her plans, then we are faced with two options. Option number one, put an end to my wife directly. Or option number two, find some evidence of her smuggling actions and present them to Father Kormif so that he is aware of her actions against the Kormif. Make sure you know which course you want to take, for you cannot turn back once you decide.

Kill her.

Loot Kormif Seal of Approval. Give it to the Sentinel.

You receive Letter of Apologies.

Perfect! Now that my wife is finally out of my way I can go back to protecting this great city and its citizens. Please, take this letter to Weldarr so that he knows the truth of what happened.

Back to Southern Plains of Karana...

Hand Weldarr the letter.

Hmm? A letter from Kurstiv?

Kurstiv?

What an interesting turn of events. It almost makes me feel sorry for Kurstiv. Who would have guess that his wife would have been the one behind all of the schemes and plots! I will accept this apology and hope that Kurstiv's wife got what she deserved. Now onto more pressing matters, the bindings.

Bindings?

So while you were gone, I was reviewing the plans that Ingmar included in his letter. These bindings are unlike anything I have seen. In order to fashion them, I am going to need some of the most powerful ore found on this world, Velium. But not just any Velium, what I will need is the most pristine pieces of velium that you can find. I feel that four blocks should do just fine.

Go to Crystal Caverns. Kill Ry`Gor Velium Miner. They drop: Slab of pristine velium. Fragment of pristine velium. Chunk of pristine velium. Block of pristine velium.

Return to Southern Plains of Karana

Give them to Weldarr.

You receive Bindings of the Weapon.

Wonderful, these will do just fine. Now take these bindings back to Ingmar, and good luck on fashioning the rest of the weapon _____.

Hand Ingmar the bindings.

Weldarr has outdone himself once again. I hope he did not have you running all over Norrath for the ingredients for these.

Norrath?

Now then, onto the next step in the weapon mold ____. Next we need to find the sharpest dragon tooth in all of these lands. You see, in my vision, the dragons of Marr would offer up their canine tooth to the smiths who would then affix them to the weapon's head piece. This combination made the weapon a tool of complete destruction and power that few armors could withstand. For our weapon, we will need to delve a little into some history that I am afraid I do not fully know. My old friend Tsuyara once told me of an ancient dragon that had teeth so sharp that it could pierce through an entire mountain without flinching. If this dragon still exists somewhere Tsuyara would know.

Tsuyara is in Erudin Palace

Ingmar sent me

Tsuyara says, 'Ingmar sent you!?! Well why didn't you say so you silly Dark Elf. You say that he sent you to hear the tale of the Mountain Piercer eh? Well from what I recall, his true name was Kinvur'dk. He was a mighty beast who had no equal when it came to the sharpness of his teeth. However, it saddens me to say that Kinvur'dk was last rumored to be sleeping with the other dragons in their death crypt on Velious. I do not think a dead dragon will do you much good.'

Go to Dragon Necropolis

'Hail, Kinvur`dk' Kinvur`dk says, 'The agony, the pain... what? Who are you?' Kinvur`dk says, '_____... I see. What do you want _____. I tire of this conversation already.' You say, 'Help' Kinvur`dk says, 'There are two ways to destroy the Abyss, _____. You must either slay the four Abyss Watchers and take their heart fragments, or find the Abyss Keeper and take his heart. Make sure you know which course you want to take, for you cannot turn your back once you decide.'

Kill him.

Loot Abysmal Heart.

Hand Abysmal Heart to Kinvur`dk. Kinvur`dk says, 'Alas, I can already feel the powers of the Abyss starting to fade. Before I can pass beyond the shadows, you must complete a ritual at my bones. Take this potion and find the place of my death. The last thing I remember doing prior to my passing was feeding on a pack of Gnomes that had strayed from their village.'

You recieve Abyss Potion.

Go to Steamfont, find Spirit of Kinvur`dk. Give him the Abyss Potion. Spirit of Kinvur`dk says, 'Yes, finally, freedom! I feel it.. the shadows.. it calls to me... Thank you Mortal. May your deeds ever be sung by the Bards of you lands. Take what you came for, I am now at peace.'

You recieve Canine of Kinvur'dk.

Back to Ingmar in Rathe Mountains Give him the Canine of Kinvur'dk. Master Ingmar says, 'You found the canine? Amazing, simply amazing.' Master Ingmar says, 'We are getting close now _____. We have almost everything that we need for the mold of the weapon except for one final piece.' Master Ingmar says, 'The last thing that we need is a ball of Living Glass. These are extremely rare and difficult to make. There used to be a very skilled Tinker who lived in the Ak'Anon Palace who made them. I have not heard of nor seen any living glass in nearly 100 years, but perhaps another Gnome in Ak'Anon may know of the location of this Master Tinker.'

Head to Ak'Anon. Find Gulin Fizzlethorp Say, 'living glass' Gulin Fizzlethorp says, 'Living Glass you say? Well I have not heard any outsiders asking around here for that in years. I'm afraid I do not remember the name of the Tinker who used to make the stuff, but I may have a friend or two that could recall. Perhaps if you are willing to get me something I want, I can get you something you want.' Gulin Fizzlethorp says, 'What I desire most is a Tinkering Shawl. They are the most exquisite ornaments that any great tinker must have. The only person within these halls that is skilled enough to craft one is old Fenisha. She has ever been the greatest tailor that was born.'

Fenisha is in Ak'Anon also. You say, 'Hail, Fenisha Kandium' Fenisha Kandium says, 'Huh? What do you want?' You say, 'tinkering shawl' Fenisha Kandium says, 'A Tinkering Shawl? What good will that do you? You do not look like much of a Tinkerer to me.' Fenisha Kandium says, 'Ah, for Gulin? I should have expected. He has been pestering me for quite some time now about getting one made. He is just too much of a kobold to go out and collect me the ingredients needed. However, you look like a great adventurer. Perhaps you will be able to collect what I need.' Fenisha Kandium says, 'There are many steps to making a proper Tinkering Shawl. First we need to fabric. For these shawls to glisten and glow the way that they do, I need to finest spider silks from the darkest places of the world. The only silk I have ever found to work have been the Darkling Silks from the Spiders of Mistmoore. There are four different forms of the silk and I will need one of each form. Once you have collected them, bring them back to me.'

You now need to go to Castle Mistmoore and hunt Mistmoore Spiders. There are 4 spiders and they drops 4 different kinds of silks. Dark Silk Soft Silk Strong Silk Smooth Silk Once those are looted hand them to Fenisha.

Unfortunately i forgot to log this dialogue: But after you hand her the silks she then asks for a needle.

The Needle is made from six metal bits... Tin Metal Bits Iron Metal Bits Mithril Metal Bits Gold Metal Bits Silver Metal Bits Velium Metal Bits All are global drops!

Combine all 6 metal bits in forge.

Give Fanisha the Needle Fenisha Kandium says, 'This needle is exactly what we will need _____. Wonderful. Now, the final agent that we will need to fashion the cloak is the binding agent. To hold the stitchings together perfectly we need one of the stickiest substances I have ever found, Wasp Spit. But not just any wasp spit will do here. For this shawl, we will need the wasp spit that can only be found by the fire wasps of Kunark.' Fenisha Kandium says, 'Yes, _____. Their spit is unlike any other binding agent on Norrath because it is immune to any form of heat or cold. From my adventurers, I found that there are two different amounts of spit that can be collected. You can either choose to collect single doses or one massive dose. Please choose wisely because one you make your selection you will not be able to go back.'

Kill the Wasp Queen in Burning Woods and loot the Massive Dose. Return to Ak'anon and hand the Massive Dose to Fenisha.

Fenisha Kandium says, 'Perfect! This will do it. Now take this Shawl and give it to Guilin. Also, hand him this letter of thanks for the last shipment of Living Glass that he made for me.'

Go back to Gulin and hand him the shawl and the note.

Gulin Fizzlethorp says, 'My very own Tinker Shawl! How wonderful! And what's this? A letter of thanks for the living glass... oh.. well.. I guess now you know...' Gulin Fizzlethorp says, 'Well, I guess that puma is out of the bag! Well, since you did me a favor I will do you one as well. I am bound by an enchantment that I can never make living glass again. Year ago, before the Meldrath Wars, I fashioned living glass all day and night. It has a certain property in it that allows us to make powerful automatons to do our work throughout these halls. However, Meldrath the Necromancer was stockpiling the Living Glass and using it to create his army of Death Automatons that he attacked the city with. After we barely defeated his forces, I had the Arcanists of Ak'Anon bind me with an enchantment so that I could never again make sure glass.' Gulin Fizzlethorp says, 'While I do not have any of the Living Glass remaining, I know that Meldrath could not have possibly used all of it that he had collected. If you travel to his old lair deep within the caves of Steamfont, you may be able to find some residual Living Glass fragments. If you do, then you will need a Grandmaster Jeweler to fashion together four of the fragments into a perfect Ball.'

Next go to Steamfont Mountains and kill Forgotten Automatons and loot 4 Fragments of living glass. Combine those in a Jewler's kit and return to Ingmar.

Master Ingmar says, 'You actually got the ball of Living Glass?! Then that completes the mold of the weapon! Now all we need to do is collect the piece.' You say, 'Hail, Master Ingmar' Master Ingmar says, 'The very last thing that we will need is a Essence of Marr. While we cannot go storming into the Halls of Marr ourselves, we may be able to find some Remnants of Marr in the fields where the Marr twins are said to have first touched Norrath. Go there and see what you can find. If you happen to find some Remnants of Marr, you will need to do a little sacrifice and combine four of the Remnants of Marr with an essence of a mortal. From my knowledge only a Grandmaster Alchemist is capable of making such a combination though. Once you have a combined Essence of Marr, return it to me so that I can bring this weapon to life!'

Next go to Everfrost and kill Child of Marr and loot 4 Remnants of Marr. Combine the 4 Remnants of Marr and 1 Essence Emerald(comes from a necromancer's Sacrifice spell) with the Alchemy tradeskill and return to Ingmar.

Master Ingmar says, 'This is it!! Now, let's combine the mold and the Essence together, and Yes.. it lives!'
