The boss is rooted.
He has 3 sets of equipment behind him; he has a few emotes, similar to the previous boss. If you move your characters in front of these arsenals of equipment you essentially ~~block~~ him from reaching to get them. He will emote that he reaches for them.
Have your toons parked in front of these 3 (they are in melee range of him, directly behind him in a row). You will prevent him from reaching them the whole fight.
The boss occasionally does an AOE stun to everyone. Tank & Spank otherwise if characters are blocking his equipment.
