Rogue 3.0

DISCLAIMER

• This quest guide tells you everywhere to go, but does not tell you everything to do. These epic quests were extremely well written by the GMs and I believe in the spirit of the quests you should figure out some of the specifics as you do the quest.

Pre-lootable

The following items can be pre-gathered/looted:

• Coin of Decay (This is required to start the quest and speak with the Quest Giver)
• Lost Memory
• Distant Memory
• Shattered Memory
• Faded Memory
• Gleaming Tear of Hatred
• Glistening Tear of Hatred
• Glowing Tear of Hatred
• Shining Tear of Hatred
• Wavering Tear of Hatred
• Mortal Cutting Crystal

Step 1

Quest giver: Vision of Decay in Crypt of Decay (Once in the zone, click the chair behind you and it’ll port you to another part of the zone, you should be standing next to the Vision of Decay).

1. You need a Coin of Decay (global loot) in your inventory to speak with the quest giver.
2. Go through the quest text and receive Crystal of the Mind
3. Combine the 4 Memory global drops in the container. Turn in A Partly Formed Memory to the Vision of Decay.

Step 2

1. Head to Plane of Knowledge and find Historian of Lost Memories in the library.
2. Go to Plane of Justice and kill Cursed Courtier and loot Alaran Courtier's Soul.
3. Head back to Historian of Lost Memories and turn in the Alaran Courtier's Soul. He will give you a Tome of the Alaran Kings.
4. Head back to Crypt of Decay and turn the Tome in to Vision of Decay.
5. Head back to Historian of Lost Memories and go through the quest text.
6. Kill these mobs and loot the following items:
   • Cabilis East, bottom of the zone, behind Warrior GM - Ancestor of Greed - Leather Straps of Greed
   • Frontier Mountains, center of the zone, cave inside the giant fort - Ancestor of Greed - Silver Clasp of Greed
   • Warsliks Woods, NE end of Zone, tunnels leading to Dalnir - Ancestor of Greed - Steel Shaft of Greed
   • Lake of Ill Omen, NE corner in goblin caves - Ancestor of Greed - Iron Nails of Greed
7. Once you have all 4 items, combine them in a forge to create Handle of Greed **The combine is 350 Trivial and can fail, item is/was NO DROP**
8. Head back to Crypt of Decay and turn the Handle in to Vision of Decay.

Step 3

1. Head to Plane of Trainquility and Hail Scholar of the Tormented, located next to the Plane of Torment zone-in.
2. Collect the 4 Pages, 2 are ground spawns, 2 are foraged.
   • Burnt Page of Torment - Foraged
   • Ripped Page of Torment - Foraged
   • Shredded Page of Torment - (-413,-1431) On the roof of the buildings surrounding Plane of Nightmare zone-in.
   • Torn Page of Torment - (-630,+639) In the water, under the bridge in the tunnel on the way to Plane of Storms/Bastion of Thunder zone-ins.
3. Once you have all 4 Pages, turn them in to Scholar of the Tormented
4. Head to Plane of Torment and kill Cursed Blacksmith and loot Hilt of Torment
5. Head back to Crypt of Decay and turn in the Hilt to Vision of Decay.

Step 4

1. Head to Plane of Hate and find Professor Narext
2. You need the 5 XXX Tear of Hatred global drops. Have an alchemist combine (350 Trivial) them with a Fuligan Soulstone of Innoruuk. This creates Fuligan Soulstone of the Alaran.
3. Turn the Fuligan Soulstone of the Alaran in to Professor Narext.
4. Option for Solo Task or Raid. Loot a Pomel of Hatred.
5. Head back to Crypt of Decay and turn the Pommel in to Vision of Decay.

Step 5

1. Head to Plane of Disease and Hail Tutor of Diseases
2. This spawns An Alaran Assassin. Speak with An Alaran Assassin.
3. This spawns a Cursed Assassin. Kill it and loot Bloodied Edge Blade
4. Head back to Crypt of Decay and turn the Bloodied Edge Blade in to Vision of Decay.
5. Once you hand the Blade in, there is a visual queue that leads you to The Last Surviving Alaran in Crypt of Decay.
6. Hail The Last Surviving Alaran to receive Vial of Decay.
7. Kill these mobs and loot the following items:
   • Twilight Sea - Celantui - Eye of the Decayed
   • Northern Desert of Ro - Jagged Maw - Tooth of the Decayed
   • Feerrott - Torahk - Blood of the Decayed
   • Marus Seru - Essarth - Skin of the Decayed
8. Combine the 4 items in the Vial of Decay.
9. Have a Jewelcrafter combine (350 Trivial) the Vial of Decay, a Diamond, and Mortal Cutting Crystal in a Jewelers Kit to create Diamond of Certain Death.
10. Head back to Crypt of Decay and turn in the Diamond of Certain Death to The Last Surviving Alaran.
11. Head back to the Vision of Decay and turn in your Coin of Decay.
12. Option for Solo Task or Raid. At the end of the Solo/Raid task you receive your Rogue Epic 3.0! (Apparently an Alla entry doesn't exist for the Mortal Edge item at this time, so no nifty link for you!)
