Overview

This fight requires no key to get to and involves repeating a process 5 times, taking fixed chunks of health away from the boss with each repetition. You will break coffins, kill vampires, and stake a big one.

The Fight

Adrianna the Tormented is a skelly with a mana drain aoe. You will face her 5 or so times throughout the fight. She despawns at certain percentages of her health, and the % gets closer and closer to 0 as you repeat the process again and again.

She does not hit hard at all, so don't worry about tank damage too much at the start. After taking her down a bit, she despawns and Roley the Cursed appears. This is a vampire who hits moderately hard.

He is invulnerable, so the idea is to use vampire stakes to harm him. As you don't have any on you, you'll have to find them. Start with the coffins.

At this point, you have an invulnerable boss beating down your tank and a room full of coffins. Keep your tank building aggro on Roley and start cracking open coffins with either damage or /open. Once opened, 2 vampires will spring out of it. They are weak and do not enrage. Have your raid dispatch them, and keep an eye out for a coffin that leaves a lootable corpse behind. Within the coffin corpse is, voila! A wooden stake

Have the tank loot the stake and take Roley for a stroll into the hallway leading back to the zone-in to Tier 2. Move him around the corner so that he no longer has line of sight with the raid and use the stake on him.

Roley is... rooted to where you staked him! You may now leave him behind and head back to the raid. He won't follow, he won't summon, he won't be too much bother. He will stun and blind anyone who gets near him though. For this reason, I recommend all future staking to be done by your tank just in case you get stunned within his melee range (happens pretty often).

The process has come full circle - Adrianna immediately respawns where she originally was (try not to keep your raid underneath where she will spawn). If you hang back enough you can be out of line of sight of Roley and far enough not to aggro her every time she respawns or get hit by her AE. Repeat the previous steps of killing Adrianna, cracking open coffins, and then staking Roley. It will take approx 5 stakes to kill him.

**note** if you get a stake on the first coffin, don't crack the others. They will despawn when you stake Roley.
